Pursuing her passion Shubhangi Manohar clicked some of the nearly extinct and rarely seen birds like Himalayan Monal, Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher and continue the same. She also kept a home museum title Birds of Vadodara under the Heritage week celebration.

Photography is an art and when it's become a passion you never look behind and go ahead, this is what Shubhangi is following since she started clicking pictures of birds. With her camera she visited some of the most difficult terrains to click rarely seen birds all across the country. In and outside Vadodara she clicked nearly 200 birds in their natural habitat.

"Coming from a family of artists, photography always excited me and as a result I hold the camera and pursue my passion. With increasing concrete structures and loss of natural habitat, birds are nearly at extinct and rarely seen in Vadodara. Even people dosen't know the names of birds and these species which already exists here in city and outskirts and often they call them as chakli of chidiya. Hence I tried to capture them for the future generations. In last six to seven years I clicked around 200 different birds in their natural habitats in and outside the city and selected of them displayed in my home museum. The aim is to give visitors a view of some of the beautiful winged neighbours they are living with, " said Shubhangi.

She visited Baroda palace, gardens, Timbi, Sindhrot, Bil, Tarsali, Por, Savli and many other locations to click some of the beautiful birds like Indian Pitta, Jerdon's leaf bird, paradise fly catcher and many others. She framed some of the best clicks and kept in her home museum for the visitors.
