VMSS Leader of Opposition visited closed gymnasium inside Karelibaug swimming pool
Demand to start the facility at the earliest
Leader of Opposition in Vadodara Mahanagar Seva Sadan Ami Ravat demand to start the gymnasium situated inside Karelibaug Swimming pool in Vadodara. The facility remains in closed state since it's inauguration in 2016.
The Karelibaug swimming pool was inaugurated in 2016 at a cost of 13 crores. The swimming pool was closed for two years following Corona but despite the low consumption, the pool is not in good condition and after representation the cleaning of the pool and maintenance starts by the authorities. The most surprising thing was non operational state-of-the-art gym in absence of no gym trainer. Hence as a result the equipments are not in good condition and need mantainance.
On Thursday after many complaints from citizens, Ami Ravat visited the swimming pool and review the condition of the gymnasium and the pools. She demand start of gym at the earliest.
"I received pictures from citizens about the unhygienic condition of the swimming pool after it restarted after corona. During my visit I found the lack of routine maintenance and specially the condition of state of art gym which is yet to start. We demand to start the gymnasium with proper trainer at the earliest and also a inquiry into the lack of routine maintenance of swimming pool and it's facilities, " Said Ami Ravat.
