Shiv Sadhna Nrutya Sangeet Academy, Vadodara, Gujarat registered their name in India Book Of Records for LONGEST MUSICAL PERFORMANCE HELD ONSTAGE BY A GROUP OF ARTISTS on October 2, 2021. This effort falls under the category 'Culture and Creativity' in India Book of Records.
Total 38 students in the age group of eight to 35 years gave performance for continuous six hours. They use musical instruments like Congo, Tabla, Drums, Octopad, Medolica, Clap Box, Djembe, Key board and vocal.
Official Adjudicator from India Book of Records Neelima Chhajed remain present there and closely watch the performance regarding the guidelines followed by the claimant during the record performance. After six hours of performance she finally declared the Shiv Sadhna Nrutya Sangeet Academy as new record holder.
"This is a unique record as different age groups with different instruments performed on stage for the record. The performance is for six years and involved 38 participants play music and vocal for the record, " Said Neelima.
