Vadodara rural LCB arrested the Savli rape accused in quick time after the complaint

Vadodara rural local crime branch arrested the person accused for raping a minor girl from Savli town. The team kept a watch at Karjan toll plaza and arrest Tohid alias Kasif Samir Sheikh from the ST Bus during vehicle checking. The accused is resident of Andheri East Sagar City in Mumbai.

As per details in police complaint, the accused was in touch with the niece of the complainant after get her mobile number about one a half years ago. The victim is a student of 9th standard. In between he also visited once to meet and earn her confidence. On 3rd December the accused reached Vadodara by train and contact the girl to meet her and reached Savli. He lured the girl and reached Kamatibaug in Vadodara. Taking advantage of her loneliness he raped the girl inside nearby bushes and later dropped her at Savli.

The victim narrated the whole incident to the family and they gives a complaint at Savli police station on 4th December Saturday. The accused is from outside the state and on instructions of M.S. Bharada Incharge IG Vadodara range and SP Sudhir Desai, police formed teams to arrest him at the earliest. After getting details and photos of accused from the victim they kept watch at various places as he might use bus and railway to travel.

As part of it based on the information the LCB team kept a watch at Karjan toll plaza and arrest Tohid alias Kasif Samir Sheikh from the ST Bus during vehicle checking. Further investigation is on in the matter.
