Vadodara Police arrest people involved in gambling at various parts of city

Vadodara Police raided a gambling den at Wama Duplex near Amit Nagar Circle late at night in the city and nabbed 11 gamblers, including the house owner along with items over Rs 75,000. Police also raided gambling dens in different parts of the city and nabbed seven gamblers.

As per available details, the Harni police had received information about people gambling in building No. 8 of Wama Duplex near Karelibagh Amit Nagar Circle. Police raid the spot and found 11 youths gambling there and arrested them along with the house owner. One of the arrested is said to be secretary of BJP city youth.

Police seized cash Rs 59,950 and other items worth a total of Rs 75,730 from the spot. Police have registered a case against all of them under Gambling Act.

Apart from this, Karelibagh police on the basis of information raided a house in Tulsiwadi and caught seven people under gambling act. Police seized Rs 11,300 from them and further investigating.Vadodara Police arrest people involved in gambling at various parts of city
