Vadodara MP Ranjan Bhatt request Union Civil Aviation Minister to resume flights canceled during the Corona period in Parliament session

Request to resume flights to Jaipur, Indore and Pune

Lockdown was imposed across the country during the Corona era and as a result national as well as international flights were also canceled. As the situation eased government allowed the things to start again in phased manner which includes movement of flights.

Vadodara also saw start of flights again towards various destinations but some of them are yet to resume. In this regard, Vadodara MP Ranjanben Bhatt had approached the Union Civil Aviation Minister to resume the flights which were canceled during the Corona period.

The winter session of Parliament is currently underway in the national capital, New Delhi and MP Ranjanben Bhatt had requested for resumption of flights to three cities of the country which had been canceled from Vadodara International Airport.

She said, flights from Vadodara towards Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Indore, Jaipur, Bangalore were in operation before the Corona period. Out of which flights to Jaipur, Indore, Pune are not yet started. People from more than 10 districts around Vadodara district take advantage of air travel from this airport. Passengers traveling to Jaipur, Indore, Pune have to go to Ahmedabad Airport as the flights are yet not started from Vadodara. MP Ranjanben Bhatt has requested the Union Minister of Civil Aviation to resume the canceled flights.
