Various organizations are collaborating with Vadodara district health system to meet the challenge of Corona. As part of this, District Collector RB Barad accepted the donation of 30 Oxygen Concentrator machines to provide oxygen treatment facility to various government hospitals in the district. This help is given by Action Aid, an organization operating in 24 states of the country and Give India.

After accepting the help, collector thanked the Institute and said that this equipment would help in increasing the covid treatment in government hospitals in rural areas of the district.

Sushila Prajapati of Action Aid Association India, Divisional Deputy Director of Health Dr. Rajendra Pathak, Chief District Health Officer Dr. Surendra Jain, Community Officers of the organization were present on the occasion. The event was held at the District Pharmacy in premises of the Vaccine Institute.

Additional Chief District Health Officer Dr. Uday Tilawat said that the institute had earlier provided very useful medical equipment to government hospitals in Dabhoi and Karjan. At present 15 of 10 liters and 15 of 5 liters, a total of 30 oxygen machines have been provided. The institute has provided useful tools in the treatment of coronavirus in other cities of the state including Vadodara and 24 states.
