Vadodara Congress held protest against rising petrol and diesel prices in the city on Friday. Former minister Bharatsinh Solanki joined them and attacked the central government for the situation. Police also detained party leaders and supporters from the spot.

The Congress party held a protest at Panchmukhi Hanumanji temple in view of petrol and diesel price hike. Former Union Minister and Gujarat State President Bharatsinh Solanki also joined and attacked the central government for the rising prices. He also said that the BJP misdirect people in the name of votes and later forget them after came to rule.

The party raised slogans agaisnt the government for rising fuel prices and demand reduce of rates. Police later detained Bharatsinh Solanki and other top leaders along with supporters from the spot as they raised slogans against the government.
