Unidentified body found near GIDC road in Makarpura area of Vadodara city
The body of an unidentified person was found near GIDC road in Makarpura area of Vadodara city. Many speculations have been created by the discovery of a dead body lying headlong among the benches placed near the road. An investigation has revealed that a bag of local liquor was also found near the body.
As per available details, the people going for job and business to Makarpura GIDC were shocked to see the body of a stranger on the fence near the road. Crowds of people flocked and see the corpse lying face down near the benches. The Manjalpur police was informed about the unclaimed body and a team rushed to the spot.
The body, which was found lying on its back near a fence near GIDC Road, has not been identified yet. Police arrived at the spot and interrogated locals to get information about the unclaimed corpse, but failed to get any information. Police have taken possession of the body and sent it to Sayaji Hospital for postmortem to find out the exact cause of death.
According to the information numerous pouches of local liquor were found near the sitting bench and the body. These sitting area have been found to be used by alcoholics for drinking alcohol. However, no information has been found as to the exact cause of death of the unidentified person.
Police have launched an investigation to find out the cause of death and about the identity. Currently, Manjalpur police has registered a case of accidental death and is conducting an investigation.
