Every year the foundation celebrate the festival with such people and gifted them some happiness. This year they decide to celebrate it differently and donate sanitary napkins to around 150 women. "We gifted them six months stock of napkins to the women of Vuda housing at Gotri. We first organise a awareness camp for them along with doctors to describe them the importance of personal hygiene which they are not following during this time of the month. We convince them to use and provide sanitary pads for free, " Said Sonali Vora founder Umang foundation.

The foundation is also going to install a sanitary pads manufacturing machine for the women to manufacture pads for their own use and also sell them to earn a source of income. The foundation also distributed sweets, clothes and slippers to roadside children and their parents during Diwali.

Sonali's daughter Bansari is also following her mother footsteps and every year prepare handmade bags and diwali greeting cards and send them to family and friends.
