Two suspected patients of Delta variant admitted to Sayaji Hospital in Vadodara

Two suspected patients of Delta variant have been admitted in Corona ward of Sayaji Hospital in Vadodara city. Both patient samples have been sent to the laboratory for testing. They have returned from Kerala and showed symptoms. A month ago, a woman from Jarod near Vadodara was found to have a Delta Plus variant.

A young man and a middle-aged man were admitted to the Corona ward of Sayaji Hospital in Vadodara after showed suspected symptoms. Both the patients had visited Kerala and after returning back showed symptoms of corona. Since the travel history of these patients is from Kerala, both are suspected to be delta variants and their samples have been taken and sent to the lab for testing.

SSG superintendent Dr. Ranjan Iyer said, nothing specific and confirmed cases as they visited Kerala and showed symptoms after returning back. The samples were send for testing.
