The Shinor Forest Department has busted a gang of people involved in killing monitor lizards in the forests to make medicine for body aches. A team from the Shinor Forest Department and the Wildlife Trust have arrested two poachers along with 11 dead monitor lizards based on the viral video.

As per available details, a video went viral on social media in Shinor in which shows drugs were made by killing monitor lizards in Tawravillage of Shinor taluka. Based on the video Shinor RFO Sanjay Prajapati and Bharat Mori of the Wildlife Trust starts the investigation.

Meanwhile, Shinor RFO came to know about the video from Tawra village and reached there with the wildlife Trust team. After investigation they arrested Kamlesh and Dasharath, who had been hunting monitor lizards from the forest to make body painkillers. The RFO found 7 monitor lizards from Kamlesh's house and 4 from Dasharath's house and seized a total of 11 dead monitor lizards. The Shinor Forest Department has registered a case against both the poachers and taken legal action against them.

Shinor RFO Sanjay Prajapati said that while interrogating Kamlesh and Dasharath, who had killed monitor lizards and brought them home, said they made body pain medicine from them. An investigation is underway into How many times has this gang hunted the lizards to make medicine before and how much money they were selling drugs to stop body aches.
