Three died in road accident near Mahuvad Navapura village in Padra Taluka

Three persons, including the driver, were killed in a car accident near Mahuvad Navapura village in Padra Taluka. The Dodia family of Tundav village in Savli taluka was returning back from a funeral of the family elder in Vadu village. Other persons are being treated at Sayaji Hospital for minor and major injuries. Vadu police is further investigating after registered a case of accidental death.

As per available details of the incident, six to seven family members of Dodia family living in Tundav village of Savli taluka were gone to attend a funeral of family elder at Vadu village on Thursday. After the funeral they were returning back when unknown four wheelers knocked their vehicle near Mahuvad Navapura village.

The van they were travelling in turned turtle resulting in death of three including the driver due to fatal injuries. Others sustained minor injuries and were given first aid at a local government hospital and later referred to Sayaji Hospital for further treatment.

Vadu police reached the spot and further investigating after registered a case of accidental death against the unidentified four-wheeler driver.
