The thieves targeted a closed house of a family in Vadodara who went to Mumbai to see a ailing mother-in-law. The accused broke the lock and stole gold and silver jewelery and cash worth Rs 5 lakh from the vault located in the house. Raopura police is investigating the incident based on the complaint.

According to a complaint lodged at the Raopura police station, Bhaveshbhai alias Sunny Ravindrabhai Rajgiri lives with his family in the Sankalp Building Dhadpur apartment on Dandia Bazar Kharivav Road and work in a private company.

On September 25, Bhaveshbhai Rajgiri took his wife Sanjeevani to Mumbai to visit his ailing mother-in-law. Meanwhile, their closed house was targeted by thieves.

Bhaveshbhai was informed about the theft by Smita Patel, who lived in front of his house and he rushed back home. While searching the house, they found the thieves broke open three iron vaults placed in the bedroom of the house and decamp with gold and silver jewelery and cash worth Rs 5,05,0000.

Based on the compliant Raopura police is further investigating to trace the accused.
