Temperatures likely to dip from today in Gujarat

After nearly a week of higher-than-normal temperatures, the mercury is likely to dip from Sunday onwards, according to the forecast by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
On Saturday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were 34 degrees celsius and 20.1 degrees, 4.4 and 6.4 degrees higher than normal, respectively.
On Sunday, the minimum temperature is likely to be about 18 degrees.
'Gradual fall in minimum temperatures by two-three degrees in next two-three days very likely over the region,' the forecast states. Across Gujarat, minimum temperatures remained higher than 16 degrees.
