The Vadodara district health system has received good results in various ways of expediting corona vaccination and by organizing camps and workshops to guide health workers and Asha sisters. Vadodara district has done more than the state average of first dose coverage and the district has been given green color in the vaccination map.
With the goal of vaccinating all in Vadodara district and get safe, the Corona vaccination is going on uninterruptedly under the supervision of Dr. Surendra Jain Chief District Health officer. The timely guidance and backing is given by District Collector R.B. Barad and District Development Officer Dr. Rajendra Patel.
Expressing the feeling that everyone from MP, MLAs to village sarpanches, leaders of various communities, district and taluka office bearers, saints of all religions, mahants, Muslim doctors and leaders have cooperated in speeding up vaccination in Vadodara district, additional Chief District Health Officer Dr. Uday Tilawat said that in Vadodara district, with 939163 vaccination, 84.6% of the work has been completed till Wednesday against the first dose target of 1097673.
Similarly against the target of 397657 of the second dose, 79.5% of the work has been completed with the vaccination of 31,6169. After the first dose, when the prescribed time limit expires, the vaccinator becomes eligible for the second dose. It is to remember that the percentage is calculated in that context.
100% vaccination of the first dose of Covid vaccine has been completed in 218 villages of Vadodara district. Dr. Tilawat congratulated the entire family of the medical and district health system for their efforts to protect the people from vaccination conducting with utmost dedication.
