Students of Shanen School in Fategunj area of Vadodara along with their parents reached District Education Office on Thursday with allegations on administration for not giving them the leaving certificate and marksheet. They said despite paying the fee, the school didn't gives them the certificate and result sheet and playing with the future of students. from the school, the parents are angry.
The parents and the NSUI student union met the education inspector at the district education officer's office and demanded action against the school. They request to get the leaving certificate as well as a result as soon as possible.
Parents and students allege that the school is demanding extra fees despite the fees being paid to the school as per government norms. They also put allegations on school saying that if the fees are not paid then the living certificate as well as the result will not be issued.
After the presentation of the parents, Education Inspector Vaishali Chaudhary said that after the written complaint, appropriate action will be taken against the school authorities and the DEO office will try to ensure that the students get justice. The staff of Karelibaug police station also reached the DEO office as part of the vigil.
