Stretcher trolley donated to Jagjivan Ram Hospital of Western Railway

Tanuja Kansal - President of Western Railway Women's Welfare Organisation (WRWWO) donated a "STRETCHER TROLLEY" to Jagjivan Ram Hospital of Western Railway at Mumbai Central on the occasion of National Blood Donors Day recently, in a function held at Rail Nikunj, Mumbai Central. She also applauded all the brave corona warriors of Jagjivan Ram Hospital for their excellent dedication and marvelous performance in the fight against COVID-19.

According to a Press Release issued by Sumit Thakur- Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, on this occasion Kansal expressed her gratitude to the Doctors, Nurses and para medical staff of Jagjivan Ram Hospital for their dedicated service in Hospital. She assured them that WRWWO is always at forefront to extend help to JR Hospital in every possible way. She gave cash awards to Railway Employees, who have been voluntarily doing Blood and Plasma Donations.

She interacted with the donors and motivated them to continue their noble cause to the society. She also urged, that more awareness camps for blood donation should be under taken so that people come forward for this noble cause. Addressing on this occasion she congratulated all the doctors and nurses and all the employees working in Jagjivan Ram Hospital of Western Railway for their successful struggle against COVID-19 pandemic.

She said that for the last two years, Coronavirus Pandemic has created a ruckus in the entire world. During this time, the frontline workers have won by fighting the battle against the pandemic on a war footing level. She also appreciated the vaccination work at JRH, due to which there has been a remarkable reduction in corona cases to a great extent. She said that JRH is the biggest and best hospital of Western Railway. Serious patients from all divisions of Western Railway come here for the best treatment.

Kansal that the stretcher trolley is an essential tool for the patients in the hospital and helping the helpers is also a human service.
