Social NGO's to collect 11,111 blankets for poor and ensure no one dies from cold
Indraprastha Yuvak Mandal and R.C. Patel Foundation in Vadodara has decided to collect 11,111 blankets from the donors
With an aim to extend help to poor during winter, Indraprastha Yuvak Mandal and R.C. Patel Foundation in Vadodara has decided to collect 11,111 blankets from the donors. The blankets collected will be distributed to the poor and team will constantly monitor about any irregularities thereafter.
The group has appealed to the public to come forward and help in this campaign. Around 32 members will be engaged in this collection campaign staring from 8th November and will continue till 15th of this month. "11111 blankets will be collected from citizens, religious organizations, industries and various organizations and distributed to the needy in the city and district. A team will be formed to prevent any misuse of donations. We request people to donate fresh blankets in view of the current scenario and later will distribute to the needy ones in city and district, " Said Tarang Shah from Indraprastha Yuvak Mandal.
The group earlier collected 15,000 clothes before Diwali and distribute them to needy people of the city. They raised counters at different areas where people collect their choice of clothes. This year there will be a full-fledged effort to ensure that no one dies from the cold, added the team of Indraprastha Yuvak Mandal.
