In the devastating plane crash that occurred in Ahmedabad on June 12, around 270 people lost their lives. Following the incident, the families of the victims filed a petition in a U.S. federal court. Families of victims from India and the UK appointed the U.S.-based law firm, Busby Allen, to seek justice.
In a surprising development, the lawyer representing the families of American victims who died in the crash has presented a shocking theory regarding the cause of the incident.
According to the American lawyer, based on new evidence, it appears that there was a leak in the aircraft's water tank. This leak may have caused a short circuit, which then led to the entire crash.
In connection with the Ahmedabad plane crash, American attorney Michael Andrews has filed a motion under U.S. law demanding access to the black box data of the aircraft.
He further claimed that the pilot was not at fault in any way during the incident. The lawyer stated that the short circuit was likely caused due to water leakage, which may have led the fuel control switch to automatically shut off, resulting in the crash.
Referring to safety guidelines issued by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the American lawyer pointed out that there have been multiple cases of water leakage from the aircraft’s waterline couplings.
Such leakages have the potential to soak electronic components, increasing the risk of short circuits, which aligns with the theory that a technical fault—rather than human error—may have led to the tragic incident.
