The farmers of Savli taluka of 135 assembly constituency had submitted a letter to the local MLA Ketan Inamdar regarding the difficulties of power cut and not getting water from the canals for irrigation.

"Due to the power farmers are not getting the water on time for irrigation. Secondly due to tripping the timing of electricity supply is reduced to three to seven hours from the eights hours given earlier. I also request to start the supply from seven in the morning," Said Inamdar.

He also mentioned about the water from Narmada canal not reaching to farmers. "Vacant posts at Narmada canal project offices lead to non availability of water. Secondly the repairing of canal before the season leads to delay in water supply to farmers in time. So I request to work on both the issues quickly which help farmers getting water supply during the season, " added Inamdar.
