Safety audit inspection is being done on Vadodara division of Western Railway by a team of high officials of North Western Zone Jaipur who will thoroughly inspect all the safety aspects related to passengers.

Senior Divisional Safety Officer, Vadodara Division, Arun Bhardwaj said that while giving top priority to the safety of the passengers, as per the directions of the Ministry of Railways, such audit inspections are carried out from time to time by the team of divisional and inter-zonal high officers so that safety checks can be carried out at the administrative level in an impartial manner.

According to him, the team led by North Western Railway Principal Chief Safety Officer PK Jain consists of Chief Track Engineer Anand Bhatia, Chief Communication Engineer Piyush Mathur, Chief Electrical Loco Engineer V Dayal, Chief Rolling Stock Engineer (Coaching) Manish Rajvanshi, Chief Operations Manager (General) Sanjay Arora and Deputy Chief Safety Officer RD Meena. During its inspection at Vadodara station, this team also thoroughly inspected Passenger and Goods Running Room, RRI and Relay Room, Integrated Lobby and Accidental Relief Train. During this a street play was also organized by the cultural team of the division.

On the second day of its inspection, this team will conduct safety inspection of minor and major bridges, railway crossings, curves, points and crossings of Vadodara-Pratapnagar-Kevadiya rail section, and Kevadiya yard. This safety team held meetings and discussions with DRM Amit Gupta and senior branch officers.
