Retiring room facility has been started at Kevadiya railway station for the convenience of railway passengers visiting the world famous tourist place "Statue of Unity" falls under Vadodara Division of Western Railway.

Giving information, Amit Gupta, DRM, Vadodara Division said that for the convenience of railway passengers visiting the Statue of Unity at Kevadiya, high standard retiring room facility has been started, which includes Deluxe, Super Deluxe, Family Room and Sweet. The facility is located on the first floor of the station building and passengers can easily access this facility from the platform through lifts and escalators. A total of six retiring rooms have been provided at Kevadiya station, out of which two family rooms, two super deluxe rooms, one deluxe room and sweet will be available.

DRM Gupta said, bonafide passengers of railways in these rooms are provided with room service, breakfast, newspapers and magazines, laundry service, Wi-Fi facility, OTT platform, high speed internet and "doctor on call" facility if required has also been made available by the trained staff.

Passengers can book these retiring rooms in two slabs of 12 hours and 24 hours. These include Rs 1900 for 12 hours for family room and Rs 3800 for 24 hours, Rs1800 for 12 hours for super deluxe room and Rsd3600 for 24 hours, Rs 900 for 12 hours and Rs 1800 for 24 hours for deluxe room, Rs 2250 for 12 hours and Rs 4500 for 24 hours for suite rooms.

In these slabs, passengers will have to pay 18% GST separately. Passengers can make their booking for retiring room on contact number 9664546698.
