The results for the Gujarat Public Services Commission (GPSC) were declared on Nov 8 for 183 posts of Gujarat Administrative Services, Class-1, Gujarat Civil Services, Class-1 and Class-2, and Gujarat Municipal Chief Officer Service, Class-2.
The list announced by the GPSC had 788 names.
The interview was conducted of the candidates six times the posts declared. However, five of the candidates were not present in the interview.
The posts included eight deputy superintendents of police (DySP), 48 assistant state tax commissioners, 15 deputy collectors, one deputy district development officer, one deputy director (scheduled caste welfare), one district/deputy registrar in combined category GPSC recruitment for 73 posts of one.
Along with that, the posts also included 75 state revenue officers, 10 taluka development officers, 10 assistant district registrars, 12 mamlatdar, 1 social welfare officer (scheduled caste welfare), and 2 government labour officers.
