Pro-Life Foundation and the Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) distributed over 1,500 tarpaulins to the laborers residing in the six villages surrounding the Panoli Industrial estate on Wednesday.
With the Bharuch district receiving heavy to heavy torrential rains over the last three days, many labor-class families residing in the villages surrounding the Panoli Industrial estate are living in the kutcha houses and their roofs are leaking.
To help such needy families, the Pro-Life Foundation and BVP decided to distribute high-quality tarpaulins to 1,500 needy families.
The tarpaulins were distributed to the labor-class families in the villages namely Kharod, Bhadi, Sanjali, Panoli, Bakrol, and Umarwada located close to the Panoli Industrial estate in Ankleshwar.
Naresh Thakkar, president of BVP said, "Over 1,500 beneficiaries from the labor-class families were distributed tarpaulins to protect their houses and families in the heavy rains"
The tarpaulin distribution event was organized in the presence of BVP President Naresh Thakkar, vice-president Bhaskar Acharya, Treasurer of Pro-Life Foundation Yogesh Pareek, and BVP vice-president KR Joshi, and the members and leaders of the village panchayats.
