As if the daily traffic snarls due to underconstruction bridges were not a torture enough, potholes on majority of the roads in Rajkot city after heavy rain has only left commuters fuming.
Sensing massive resentment among people, the municipal commissioner Amit Arora personally visited the spots where huge potholes were created.
He instructed the officials to complete the patchwork as early as possible. Main roads and junctions like Madhapar crossroads, New Ring Road, 150 foot Ring Road and others have been washed away due to incessant rain.

As the rain continues, RMC has no option but to do the patchwork using moram (construction sand) and metal only.
