In a shocking incident a resident of a society in the Gotri area of ​​Vadodara city injured the eye of a street dog by throwing a loose clay pot. Local residents contacted animal welfare organisation about the incident and the activists rushed to the spot and moved the injured dog for treatment. They also lodged a complaint against the attacker at the Gotri police station.

As per available details, People for Animals in Vadodara is working to take care of the stray animals. On 22nd November, a responsible person from Tulsidham Society in Gotri area informed the activist of the organization about heard a heavy object falling on the terrace and rushed to check. They found a man was standing with a stick and a dog lying nearby in a bloody state. The dog's left eye had come out and blood was oozing out.

He further said that a clay pot was broken near the injured dog. Interrogation of the person revealed his name is Nikunj Suthar living in the same society and he confessed to hitting the dog in the mouth with a stick. He then fled from the scene.

Based on this fact, the activists of the organization rushed to the spot and shifted the injured dog for treatment. A complaint was lodged at the Gotri police station against Nikunj Suthar.
