Speculations of early assembly election in Gujarat are not dying down and the political temperature is set to soar in the state with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, and AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal expected to visit next week.

The visit of these leaders has yet again sparked rumours of the likelihood of an early assembly election. If held on schedule, the election will take place in December.

The Congress has planned a major tribal rally in Dahod on May 10, which tribals from the entire belt from Ambaji to Umbergaon are expected to attend. Gandhi will address the 'Adivasi Satyagraha' rally.

On May 11, Delhi chief minister Kejriwal will hold a roadshow and a rally in Rajkot. This will be Kejriwal's third visit to Gujarat in a month.

Key sources in the state government said that PM Modi is likely to visit Rajkot and Gandhinagar either on May 12 or 13 to attend a Patidar community event.

The PM will also preside over a state government event in Gandhinagar.
