India Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the inaugural function of Pramukh Swami Maharaj Shatabdi Mahotsav at 5:30 PM today in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Pramukh Swami Maharaj was a guide and guru who touched countless lives across India and the world. He was widely respected and admired as a great spiritual leader.

In the birth centenary year of Pramukh Swami Maharaj, people from across the world are celebrating his life and work.

The year-long worldwide celebrations will culminate in the 'Pramukh Swami Maharaj Shatabdi Mahotsav that will be hosted by BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Shahibaug in Ahmedabad.

It will be a month-long celebration beginning from the 15th of December this year to the 15th of January, 2023 in Ahmedabad.

Sources reports, to commemorate Pramukh Swami Maharaj, centenary year, Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Sanstha has established the 600-acre huge festival site 'Pramukh Swami Nagar', near Oganaj in Ahmedabad where the grand month-long celebrations will take place from tomorrow.

Talking to AIR, BAPS's Apurva Muni Swami told that, a replica of Delhi Akshardham, seven large decorative gateways, five immersive exhibitions, light and sound show and many attractions for children have been be set up at the venue as part of the celebrations.

Lakhs of devotees from across the world, ministers and global dignitaries are expected to participate in the month long celebrations in Ahmedabad.
