One youth drowned in mahi river passing near Lachanpur village in Savli

One of the friends who went for a swim in the Mahisagar river passing near Lachanpur village in Savli taluka drowned in the flowing water of Mahi river. The matter was reported to Vadodara Fire Brigade and NDRF and both teams are immediately searching for the missing youth.

As per available details, Ashwin Kandoi (18), a resident of Savli Barot Vaga, had gone with his friend for a walk on the banks of the river Mahi, which passes near Lachanpur village. In the meantime Ashwin went inside and began to drown in the flowing water. He cried for help and soon disappeared inside the river.

Meanwhile, Ashwin's friends reported the incident to his family and they rushed to the spot. Savli police and rushed to the spot and informed the Vadodara Fire Brigade team and NDRF team to find the missing youth. Both teams started searching but failed to trace the missing youth.

An offence has been registered by the police.
