Both universities are based in Vadodara and are working together to create the “Vadodara City Knowledge & Innovation Cluster.”

The MOU was signed by Prof. (Dr.) Vijay Kumar Srivastava, Honourable Vice Chancellor, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, and Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Choudhary, Vice Chancellor of Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya, in the presence of senior officials from both institutions.

His vision and commitment to fostering a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing in Vadodara have been pivotal in bringing together these two prestigious institutions.

Prof. Srivastava has emphasized the importance of creating a robust educational ecosystem that benefits not only the academic community but also the city’s industrial and cultural sectors.

Under his leadership, MSU aims to leverage this partnership to enhance academic excellence and promote sustainable development in Vadodara.

By leveraging the strengths of both MSU and GSV, we can drive sustainable development and enhance the quality of life in our city” said  Prof. (Dr.) Vijay Kumar Srivastava

This MOU signifies the start of joint activities aimed at promoting Vadodara’s development by creating a cluster of academic institutions, industry, trade organizations, and government bodies across Vadodara city.

The focus will be on facilitating innovation and knowledge exchange. Vadodara, besides being a cultural city, is fast emerging as an industrial and educational hub.

The universities plan to utilize the latest technological interventions and digital technologies to sustain, preserve, and enhance the local heritage, traditions, cultures, and scientific temper across Vadodara city.

They aim to promote joint teaching, training, skilling, executive education, curriculum development, technology-enabled and continuing education programs, and organizing joint seminars and industry forums.
