Police register case waiting for PM report to know exact cause of deaths
Vadodara police questioned the husband over the suspicious death of mother and daughter late last night on Sunday at Chandan park Society on New Sama Road. in Vadodara. The bodies are sent for postmortem and police is waiting for the report to know the exact cause of death.
The mother daughter duo is said to be died after came back from garba. The police found injury marks on the neck of the woman and waiting for the PM report to come to any conclusion regarding the deaths.
Shobhana Patel, 36 and her 6-year-old daughter Kavya was taken to a private hospital for treatment after their health deteriorated, where the doctor pronounced both dead. Following this Sama police rushed to the spot and started an investigation into the matter. The bodies of the two were sent to Sayaji Hospital for postmortem.
The brother of the girl raised suspicion over the deaths and said all happened after they came back home from garba and went to sleep. The incident happened somewhere between 12 to 2 am.
"The exact cause of death of both will come out after the postmortem report. The deceased woman's husband lives at home as a son-in-law and works as a salesman in a private company. We are currently investigating it as the accidental death and waiting for the PM report for further investigation," Said Bharat Rathod ACP H division.
