17 mobile veterinary dispensaries (MVDs) have been set up in every ten villages in Vadodara district in collaboration with GVK EMRI and State Animal Husbandry Department. It helps the cattle keepers to get treatment for their animals at home.

This service has been completed one year in existence and so far a total of 62209 animals have been treated by the mobile veterinary clinic in Vadodara district. Of these, 58944 animals were treated during schedule and 3265 are treated in emergency, said project in-charge Jaimil Dave.

There are a total of 17 mobile veterinary hospitals functioning in Vadodara district. Of these a total of 62209 animals have been treated talukas. In Vadodara taluka, 5152 in Nandesari, 5621 in Sindhrot, 4173 in Ramnath, 4288 in Muwal of Padra taluka, 3911 in Saraswani, 2812 in Kanbha of Karjan taluka, 4746 in Karamdi, 3094 in Anandi of Shinor, 5428 in Vaniyad, 2684 in Dabhoi's Karnali, 2635 in Simlia, 3015 in Waghodia's Amreshwar, 2785 in Rajpura, 2959 in Vemar Savli, 3667 Champaner, 2496 in Valavav in Desar taluka and 2753 in Varsada.
