Minister of State for Women and Child Development Manisha Vakil launched ICU on Wheels ambulance at Gotri hospital in Vadodara on Friday. She gave gave 36 lakhs from her MLA grant for the facility. She said, the ambulance is equipped with advanced inbuilt life system including ventilator and will be helpful in shifting patients to other hospitals.
Manishaben Vakil, MLA of Vadodara City Legislative Assembly and Minister for Women and Child Welfare, with her own grant (grant) launched new ICU on Wheels ambulance at GMERS Gotri hospital on Friday equipped with advanced inbuilt life system including ventilator. The facility will give a boost to the facility available in the hospital.
The Minister said that in the midst of the second wave of Corona pandemic, Corona patients were treated very well by the doctors and staff of Gotri Hospital during the difficult times. The ambulance services at that time proves to be boon for patients. Now this ICU On Wheel, ambulance equipped with state-of-the-art medical facilities will help in the treatment of patients as well as shifting them to other hospitals in critical condition.
MP Ranjanben Bhatt said her mother was also treated at the government hospital in Gotri. Welcoming all GMERS hospital Gotri, Medical Superintendent, Dr. Vishala Pandya, said that the vehicle received from the MLA grant of Minister Manishaben Vakil has all the advanced life saving facilities equivalent to ICU which will be very useful in safe transport of critical patients to hospitals.
The new ambulance was inaugurated in the presence of Mayor Keyur Rokadia, MP Ranjanben Bhatt, MLAs Jitubhai Sukhadia, Seemaben Mohile and hospital staff.
