A meeting was held on Wednesday on planning of the district level Independence Day celebrations. The Collector said that the Independence Day celebrations will be held in full compliance with the provisions of COVID-19. A rehearsal of this program will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2021.

The Collector further said that on the eve of Independence Day, cultural programs have been organized in eight taluka centers of Vadodara district. After the completion of taluka level programs at 6 pm, the state level program to be held at Junagadh will be broadcast live.

Nodal officers have been appointed along with formation of district and taluka level planning committees for planning of taluka level programs, Who will organize patriotic themed cultural programs at each taluka center as prescribed by the Sports and Cultural Department.
