Major General Mohit Wadhwa has taken over the reins of strategically important Golden Katar Division responsible for safeguarding Indian borders with Pakistan in South Rajasthan and Gujarat on 18 October 2021.

In his distinguished career spanning over three decades, General Wadhwa has tenated coveted Command, Staff and Instructional appointments in variegated terrains and areas spanning almost the entire Country and Abroad. His Command tenures include commanding the prestigious 5 Armoured Regiment and an Armoured Brigade as part of Strike Corps.

The Staff appointments include Operations Officer in Sierra Leone, GSO-3 of an Independent Armoured Brigade, Assistant Military Secretary, Financial Advisor to Botswana Defence Forces, Colonel General Staff of an Armoured Division, Brigadier General Staff of Bathinda based Corps and Deputy Military Secretary at Pune. He has been an Instructor at the prestigious Defence Services Staff College, Wellington and has also served with the coveted President's Body Guard at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

General Wadhwa has been commended for his professionalism on many occasions throughout his career. A dense intellect, the General Officer specializes in Operational Art and Maneuver Warfare.

Alongwith him, Monica Wadhwa, who is an accomplished Educationist with passion for Social Service has also assumed the change of Chairperson, Family Welfare Organisation of the Division.
