Teachers of Dabka Group Tabani Seem Joshipura Primary School in Padra Taluka of Vadodara District imparting education to 188 students by visiting their house and street. In the Corona era, teachers are educating children through home learning to students who do not have facilities like TV or smartphone can get education under Gyansetu program.

Schools are currently closed due to Corona epidemic but not education as teachers are teaching students through online platform. There are many students in the village who do not have a TV or smart phone at home. In order to teach such children, under the Gujarat government Gyansetu program, primary school teachers are imparting education to the students in the village during the morning hours in nine places such as farms, streets and mohallas. Approximately 188 and more students are being taught by the teachers on the streets.

Aditi, who has entered the second standard, says in her language that teachers come to teach at home because of Corona. Tell stories through Songs and she also like to read. Kanu Jadav, teacher of SIM school says that street education is being given to the children of Std. 1 to 8 of the village by the teachers. Dabka Primary School teacher Bharat Chaudhary said that parents are also cooperating in this operation in all the schools of our group.

When many people were infected with Corona in the second wave, there was no other way other than online education. But the teachers of this village in Padra taluka have set an excellent example by going door to door and educating the children. Teachers in suburban and other schools, including Dabka, are taking to the streets to ensure that no child is deprived of education in compliance with the Corona guideline.

Children in rural areas who have got admission in 1st class and could not go to school due to corona are learning a lot of life-shaping skills through the tireless efforts of the school teachers under this Gyansetu program.
