Janmashtami celebration in ISKCON Vadodara will be a low key affair on Monday following the religious-scriptural tradition. On the eve of Janmashtami, devotees will only be able to see God by following the rules and regulations of Covid-19 at the temple premises. No functions and Bhandara are not happening this year as per government guidelines.

On Monday the holy festival of Janmashtami will be celebrated in all the temples of the city, including the ISKCON temple, as per the guidelines of Corona till 1 at night as per the religious-scriptural tradition. Of course, the joy of Matkifod will be missing as the celebration of Lord Krishna's Janmotsav (Janmashtami) has been eclipsed this year too due to Corona scare. Fairs will not be held in the city, including the occasional Matkifod program. So most of the devotees will celebrate Janmashtami in their own home in a simple way and will be full of devotion.

Nityanandji Swami from ISKCON temple request devotees to follow the guidelines like wearing masks and use sanitisers while maintaining distance during visiting the Lord.
