The Vadodara Mahanagar Seva Sadan is appealing people of the city to maintain cleanliness. As part of it an Innovative approach was undertaken by Vadodara Municipal Corporation as officers on foot remove haphazardly parked vehicles and larries in Vadodara. They appealed people to maintain cleanliness.
On the road from Kishanwadi Char Rasta to the super bakery, officials of VMSS marched on foot and persuaded the people to maintain cleanliness by removing the encroachment including haphazardly parked vehicles and larries. Thus the municipality has taken a new approach to remove the obstacles on the roads and maintain cleanliness.
The standing chairman Dr. Hitendra Patel and officials met the local people during the drive and make them understand to maintain cleanliness and not encroach at places like roads.
In addition, a campaign was launched to prevent new waste spots in the area. In coming days, similar campaigns will be conducted in all areas of Vadodara city and the corporation will also take punitive action.
It may be mentioned here that some careless people are still dumping waste on the main road, while some people are parking their vehicles haphazardly and endangering lives of other pedestrians and motorists. On the other hand, there is a public demand to remove cattle herds on the main road from Airport Circle to Sardar Estate Char Rasta at night.
