Cheats are having a field day, cashing in on cricket fans' frenzy to lay hands on tickets for the October 14 India-Pakistan World Cup fixture.
The reportedly little luck that fans have had with buying tickets from official sites has created a lucrative market for sellers of counterfeits.
Two scams have come to light and police are not ruling out the possibility of more such rackets.
They are also expecting protests at the stadium from holders of counterfeits, who will be denied entry.
Eight anti-morcha teams will be deployed at the stadium to prevent demonstrations by such fans.
