A Home Guard jawan from Aravalli district, who was in Vadodara for 5 days in the duty of Ganesh immersion died of heart attack on the visarjan day. The news spread a pall of gloom among fellow employees and family. Police officials and homeguard jawans gave tribute to the deceased and handover the body to family members.

As per details he suddenly collapsed and vomit on Sunday morning. He died while on the way to hospital. "Arvindbhai Parmar from Aravalli district, had come to Vadodara for Ganpati immersion duty for the last 4 days. He returned from duty on Saturday night and in the morning getting ready to go on duty. During this time he suddenly started vomiting blood and his BP went down. So we taken him to Sayaji Hospital for treatment however the homeguard died on the way, " Said Ruturajsinh Vaghela district commandant Vadodara.

The police officers and staff paid tribute to the homeguard jawan and later his body was handed over to the family. Ruturajsinh Vaghela said Rs 5 lakh assistance will be given to the family of deceased Jawan from Homeguard Welfare Fund.
