Gujarat SPCA rescued a python after a two-hour struggle at Antoli village in Waghodia taluka. The python was caught in a fishing net in a river passing near the village.
As per available details, one Hiteshbhai, a resident of Antoli village in Waghodia taluka, had called Gujarat SPCA Minister Raj Bhavsar late in the evening and informed about a python trapped in a fishing net near the river passing near his farm. The volunteers immediately reached the spot after the call and carefully rescued the 5.5 foot python from the fishing net and handed over to the forest department.
The rescue team had to use torch and mobile phone lights in the dark and cut the fishing net to rescue the python safely.
