Gujarat sees 58 cardiac cases on Navratri Day 1

Festive fervour gripped the city on Day One of Navratri on Sunday with people enthusiastically taking part in Navratri programmes and dancing to popular garba songs.

The data by EMRI 108 emergency services for six hours between 6pm and 12 midnight on Sunday, however, indicated that the road traffic accidents (RTAs) rose by 21% compared to normal days.

Sunday was the first day of Navratri festival. Across Gujarat, non-vehicular trauma cases increased from 134 to 148.
