Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a two-day visit to Gujarat from Tuesday.

Apart from presiding over a function to mark the completion of 20 years of the state government's flagship business and investment summit, the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS), the PM will also launch a number of government projects at a function in Chhota Udepur district.

He will also address a public meeting organized by the state BJP to commend the Union government on passing the Women's Reservation Bill in both houses of Parliament, which will provide 33% reservation to women in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies.

The BJP aims to gather 20,000 women leaders and BJP members for the programme, which will take place on Tuesday evening, adjacent to the Gujarat State Aviation Infrastructure Company Ltd (GUJSAIL) building, immediately after the PM's arrival in the city. Women BJP leaders of the state will felicitate the PM at the event, a party statement said.

The Gujarat government has organized an event at Science City in Ahmedabad on Wednesday to mark completion of 20 years of VGGS.

PM Modi is expected to address a gathering of industry representatives, prominent personalities from the sphere of trade and commerce, young entrepreneurs, students of higher and technical education colleges and others.
