Gujarat may soon get mega textile park

The state's textile industry may soon get a boost with a mega integrated textile park coming up in South Gujarat.

Union minister of state for textiles Darshana Jardosh on Saturday said that 13 states including Gujarat have sent their applications for mega textile parks and the central government will take a decision on the allotment soon.

Gujarat is believed to be a frontrunner to get one of the seven proposed mega textile parks across the country.
