Gujarat Govt chooses new heads for GEDA and DGVCL, 14 IAS officers transferred

The Gujarat government on Friday transferred 14 IAS officials and appointed new heads for Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) and Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Limited (DGVCL), Surat.
Shivani Goyal was named Director, GEDA, according to a notification issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), relieving Saidingpuii Chhakchhuak of the additional charge of the office. Goyal was one of eight IAS officials elevated to senior time scale from the 2018 batch.
Utsav Gautam, a graduate of the 2018 class, was named Mission Director of the National Urban Livelihood Mission in Gamdhinagar. Snehal Bhapkar was named managing director of DGVCL, while Mamta Hirpara was named managing director of Gujarat State Handloom and Handicraft Development Corporation Ltd.
