Ramdas Athawale Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment on his visit to Vadodara said, as per new amendment the Gujarat government shall take decision quickly on Patidar reservation in OBC. The weaker sections of the cast shall get the reservation and they are with them. He alone from Republican Party of India fight for the reservation for Patidar, Maratha, Jat, Brahmin, Rajput, Thakur like Schedule Cast and Schedule Tribes.

During the press conference he also said that the recent killings in Jammu and Kashmir are part of planning to disturb the situation in the valley and stop people to come there for work and business. Article 370 was removed with an intention to invite businessmen to establish their units and generate local income but the recent incidents are an act of creating disturbance. I invite the local terrorists to come to main stream and help in developing the area.

On the farmers agitation he said, the law is for the benefit of the farmers and to increase their income. We are ready for amendment but the farmers are forcing to take back the law. If we accept then every law has to be taken back and this prove dangerous for the democracy. Lakhimpur Sheri incident is sad and our condolences are with the bereaved families. Strict action will be taken against the accused and Manish Mishra already arrested by the police. But still We invite the farmers to talk and come to a resolution.
