Giving tribute to the farmers Vadodara Congress too protest the killing under the leadership of state president Amit Chavda and said the BJP is trying to finish the democracy by indulging in such acts. "The farmers are protesting against the farm laws for over a year and now the BJP is indulging in such ways to finish the agitation. The son of minister was involved in killing of the farmers and the government is stopping Congress leaders who are on the way to meet the grieving farmers. They are trying to finish the democracy, said Chavda.
He further added that the party is organising protest programs in every district of Gujarat to give tribute to the farmers lost their lives. He demand judicial inquiry and strict punishment for the responsible.
Pawan Khera National Spokesperson for Indian National Congress Party also condemn the incident during the visit to Vadodara and demand inquiry in the matter. Attacking the BJP he put serious allegations regarding Amazon whistle blower matter where 8546 crore bribe was given to some big people. He linked this directly to the unemployment and said in last two years 14 crore employment were finished including small traders, shops and traders. He demand inquiry in the matter and attacked the government for not doing anything.
On the recent drug haul case, he also raised questions about why Mundra port is used for such activities and the drugs coming from neighbouring countries is used to spoil the youth and moreover the money is used for terror activities. He also raise the issue about the vacant post of full time Direct General post in Narcotics Control Bureau.
