The India meteorological department (IMD) on Friday stated in its forecast that isolated places in all districts of South Gujarat and Ahmedabad, Kheda, Anand, Panchmahal, Dahod, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar and Gir Somnath districts may get light thunderstorms with lightning and surface winds of 30-40 kmph.
There may be heavy rain in Surat, Navsari and Valsad on Tuesday.
The maximum temperature in the city at 35°C was 0.8 degrees higher than normal.
