The exam reform committee of Gujarat Technological University (GTU) will next month decide the punishment to be handed down to 152 students who were caught cheating in the recent examinations.
The meeting of GTU's exam reform committee is scheduled on May 5. Sources said that the committee will take a final decision on the punishment to be handed down to these students during this meeting. All these students have been asked to remain present at the GTU campus on May 5.
The committee will stipulate the punishment depending upon the outcome of the inquiry into the offences. Sources said it is likely that four of the 152 students will be barred from taking examinations for three years. tnn
